I have been very fortunate to have had as many opportunities as I have to combine two of my passions-- Traveling, and the practice of Holistic Healing. I started my healing journey at in my hometown of Paradise, CA. At 19, as I began my yoga practice and got a taste of what it meant to be truly free, I was also inspired to study Medicinal Herbs of the Pacific Northwest. This interest in herbalism carried over as I moved from one Paradise to another-- Kauai, HI. There, I studied La'au Lapa Au (the traditional Hawaiian way of healing with plants and prayer). Over the next several years, as I began to travel the world in search of more knowledge and more freedom-- I became certified in Hatha Yoga, Integrative Massage Therapy, and Thai Yoga Massage in both Central America and Southeast Asia. Using California as a home base, I traveled far and wide, and was able to expand my self-study, experience different cultures, and receive the most valuable education of my life. Over the last 20 years, the practices of Yoga, Buddhist Meditation, Therapeutic Massage, Medicinal Herbalism, Shamanism, and Self-Healing, blended with the rich experience of world travel, have created the person I am today. They have brought me closer to the world by dissolving cultural barriers, closer to others through compassionate touch and connection, and closer to myself through the practice of self-inquiry. Please join me on my current journey into the unknown-- growing, healing, and challenging unnecessary boundaries, be they self-imposed or otherwise.
